About the scholarship
The Voices Scholarship was established by the Dzuro family in 2014. The goal of the scholarship is to provide a deserving student from the music department at The Villages High School merit-based financial assistance in the pursuit of music at the Post-Secondary level. Students seeking to be awarded this scholarship must excel in the classroom, be of good personal standing, and thoughtfully respond to a topic in essay form. Music is the art of sound and can be profoundly impactful on the lives of individuals and the core of a community. Those who are gifted the talent of music are charged with a special privilege and duty to be a source of light, of happiness, of healing, of joy to the world around them. Our family is devoted to increasing the ability for students from The Villages High School to seek their passions and dreams in the world of music. It is our hope that this leads to a better world through the spread of the enjoyment of music to our community and beyond.
